  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Can be omitted or replaced with garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup vegetable broth or water Use broth for more flavor

Preparation
  1. Wash the broccoli thoroughly under cold water and pat it dry with a clean towel.
  2. Cut the broccoli into even-sized florets to ensure even cooking.
Cooking
  1. In your crockpot, add the broccoli florets, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Pour in the vegetable broth or water.
  3. Give everything a good stir to ensure that the broccoli florets are evenly coated with the oil and seasonings.
  4. Cover the crockpot and set it on low for about 4 hours or high for 2 hours, depending on your schedule.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Freezing is possible for 2 to 3 months. Add a tablespoon of water when reheating to maintain texture.
