  • 1 pound frozen meatballs (beef or turkey) Choose your preferred type of meatballs.
  • 2 cups marinara sauce Any favorite brand of marinara sauce will work.
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded For a gooey, cheesy topping.
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds a nice flavor contrast.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Feel free to adjust the amount to your taste.
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder Enhances the overall flavor.
  • 1 cup cooked pasta (penne or rotini work well) Short pasta shapes hold the sauce well.
  • to taste Fresh basil for garnishing Optional, for added flavor and presentation.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large baking dish, add the frozen meatballs, the cooked pasta, and pour the marinara sauce over the top, mixing it all until the meatballs and pasta are evenly coated.
  3. Sprinkle Italian seasoning and garlic powder over the mixture. Top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
Cooking
  1. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for about 20 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Serving
  1. Allow it to cool slightly before serving. Optionally, top with fresh basil for an added burst of flavor.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months. To reheat, microwave a serving or bake at 350°F (175°C) until warmed through.
