Ingredients
  

For the filling
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened Make sure it's softened for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Regular or seasoned breadcrumbs can be used.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese This adds flavor and richness.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic enhances the flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped For freshness and color.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
For the prawns
  • 12 large prawns, peeled and deveined Use fresh or thawed prawns, make sure they are cleaned.
  • Olive oil for drizzling Enhances flavor and helps achieve a golden brown finish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix everything until well-combined.
  3. Carefully stuff each prawn with the filling using a teaspoon, packing it in well but avoiding overstuffing.
  4. Lay the stuffed prawns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Lightly drizzle olive oil over the stuffed prawns.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the prawns are cooked through and the tops are golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Prawns can be substituted with shrimp. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days. For longer storage, freeze before baking and cook from frozen.
