Preparation
  1. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper on both sides.
Searing the Chicken
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Carefully place the seasoned chicken breasts into the hot skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and no longer pink in the center.
  3. Remove the chicken and set it aside.
Making the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium.
  2. Add the chicken broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up any bits stuck to the bottom.
  3. Stir in the sour cream, mixing well until smooth.
Combine
  1. Return the chicken to the skillet, ensuring it is well coated with the sauce.
  2. Let it simmer for another 5-10 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and the flavors to meld together.
Finishing Touches
  1. Sprinkle the chicken with fresh parsley before serving.
