  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk Can use almond or oat milk for a Halal-friendly option
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Alcohol-free version can be used if desired
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • to taste Maple syrup for serving Can also add fresh fruit or whipped cream as toppings

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Open the can of cinnamon rolls and separate each roll. Cut the rolls into quarters and set them aside in a large mixing bowl.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until smooth.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the quartered cinnamon rolls, gently tossing them until all pieces are well-coated.
Cooking
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until hot enough to sizzle.
  2. Add the coated cinnamon roll pieces to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
  3. Transfer the cooked bites to your favorite serving platter. Drizzle with maple syrup and add any desired toppings.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a toaster oven or skillet to maintain crispiness.
