Ingredients
  

Cheese Ingredients
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed Well-drained to avoid sogginess.
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
Breading Ingredients
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably Italian seasoned)
  • 2 large eggs Beaten
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour Can substitute with almond flour for gluten-free.
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare a breading station: In one bowl, place the flour and season it with a little salt and pepper. In another bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
Coating
  1. Coat the cheese: Take a cube of mozzarella cheese, dip it into the flour, then the beaten egg, and finally coat it with the breadcrumbs. Ensure it’s fully covered. Repeat with all cheese cubes.
  2. Arrange the breaded mozzarella on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure they are spaced well apart to allow even cooking.
Baking
  1. Lightly spray the bites with olive oil to promote browning.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, until golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!

Notes

For a gluten-free version, use almond flour instead of all-purpose flour. Consider adding herbs like oregano or Italian seasoning to the breadcrumb mixture for extra flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
