For the dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted Make sure it's melted for easier mixing.
  • 1/2 cup milk Use whole or low-fat milk as preferred.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese This is the star ingredient for gooeyness.
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic Adjust according to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley For freshness and color.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese To sprinkle on top before baking.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt, and mix until well blended.
  3. Pour in the melted butter and milk, then mix until a sticky dough forms.
  4. Gently fold in the mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.
  5. Lightly flour your hands, scoop about a tablespoon of dough, roll it into a ball, and place it on a lined baking sheet.
  6. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top of each roll.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until rolls are puffed up and golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before tearing apart to enjoy the melted goodness inside.

Notes

For a different flavor, you can substitute cheddar cheese for mozzarella. Avoid overmixing the dough to ensure fluffiness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze them for up to 2 months.
