Preparation
- Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced beef and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if necessary. Toss in the minced garlic and ginger, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for about 3-5 minutes, or until they are bright green and tender yet still crisp.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet with broccoli. Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce. Stir well to combine, letting the flavors meld together for an additional 2 minutes.
- Carefully add the cooked lo mein noodles to the skillet. Drizzle with sesame oil and toss everything together until the noodles are fully coated and heated through.
- Garnish with sliced green onions before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For freezing, place cool lo mein in a freezer-safe container for 2-3 months. Reheat in microwave or skillet with a splash of water.
