  • 4 pieces chicken breasts Can substitute with chicken thighs.
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce Ensure it's halal-friendly.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • optional Chopped parsley For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Wipe down the grill grates with a paper towel dipped in olive oil to prevent sticking.
Cooking
  1. Place the chicken breasts on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  2. During the last few minutes of cooking, generously brush BBQ sauce over the chicken and let it caramelize.
  3. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Serving
  1. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the fridge, or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven or microwave, being careful not to dry out the chicken.
