Preparation
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (about 175°C) for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Gradually add the milk, mixing until smooth. The batter should be thick enough to coat the Oreos.
- Dip each Oreo cookie into the batter, covering it completely. Let the excess batter drip off.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
- Place the coated Oreos in a single layer in the air fryer basket (make sure they aren’t touching). Cook for 6-8 minutes or until they are puffed up and golden brown.
- Remove the cookies from the air fryer and allow them to cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
- Enjoy them warm, and don’t forget to share!
Notes
Ensure the batter is thick enough to cling to the cookies, and fry in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days, and reheat in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes at 350°F.
