Ingredients
  

For the Pie
  • 1 pre-made pie crust 1 pre-made pie crust (store-bought or homemade) Use a preferred crust
  • 3 large eggs 3 large eggs Fresh eggs for best flavor
  • 1 cup 1 cup granulated sugar Adjust sweetness to taste
  • 1 cup 1 cup whole milk Use fresh milk for best flavor
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds flavor to the custard
  • 2-3 pieces 2-3 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced Should be sweet and fragrant
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon cornstarch Thickens the custard

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place your pre-made pie crust in a pie dish and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and then add the sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  4. Mix in the cornstarch to help thicken the custard. Stir until smooth.
  5. Layer the sliced peaches evenly in the bottom of the pie crust.
  6. Gently pour the custard mixture over the peaches, ensuring they are all covered.
  7. Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the custard is set and slightly golden on top.
  8. Let the pie cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
