Preparation
  1. Slice the cucumbers and onions thinly, ensuring uniform thickness.
  2. In a bowl, mix the vinegar, salt, and sugar until dissolved.
  3. Combine the sliced cucumbers and onions with the vinegar mixture, stirring well.
  4. Let the mixture marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed before serving.
  6. Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

For a twist, consider adding minced garlic or fresh herbs like dill or parsley. Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
