Ingredients

Wrap Ingredients
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Be sure your chicken is halal and cooked well; grill or bake prior if needed.
  • 1 cup Romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing Make the dressing household-approved or store-bought, ensure it’s halal-friendly.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup croutons, crushed Smash some croutons before sprinkling for added crunch.
  • 4 large tortillas or wraps

Method

Preparation
  1. Cook your chicken through grilling, baking, or boiling until fully cooked. Once done, let it cool, then shred it into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, chopped Romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing, and grated Parmesan cheese. Toss everything together until well mixed and coated.
  3. Gently fold in the crushed croutons, but save a handful for the topping later.
  4. Take your large tortillas or wraps, and spoon a generous portion of the chicken mixture onto each. Roll them tightly, tucking in the sides as you go.
  5. Sprinkle the reserved croutons on top of each wrap for extra crunch. Cut in half, and serve with a side of additional dressing for dipping if desired.

Notes

To maintain freshness, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For freezing, wrap tightly in plastic wrap and foil; lasts up to a month. Reheat in oven or on a frying pan over medium heat for about 10 minutes to retain crunchiness.
