  • 1 package 25 oz package of frozen cheese ravioli Opt for high-quality frozen cheese ravioli for the best results.
  • 1 jar 24 oz jar of marinara sauce Use your favorite brand.
  • 1 container 15 oz container of ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning A dash of herbs enhances the taste.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Salt and pepper
  • Fresh basil optional Fresh basil for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Begin by measuring out all your ingredients to make assembling your lasagna a breeze.
  2. In a bowl, blend the ricotta cheese with Italian seasoning and some salt and pepper for added flavor.
Layering
  1. Start by spreading some marinara sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Layer frozen ravioli on top, followed by dollops of the ricotta mixture, a sprinkle of mozzarella, and a sprinkling of Parmesan.
  3. Continue layering the marinara, ravioli, ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan until all ingredients are used, ending with a last layer of marinara sauce and topping it with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
Cooking
  1. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for about 4 hours or until the ravioli are tender and the cheese is bubbly.
  2. Once the cooking time is up, serve with a sprinkle of fresh basil on top if desired, and enjoy your comforting meal!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. To reheat, microwave until heated through or place in an oven-safe dish at 350°F until warmed throughout.
