Method
 

Preparation
  1. Peel and chop the pineapple into small, bite-sized pieces.
Cooking
  1. In your crockpot, add the chopped pineapple, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and water.
  2. Stir until the sugars are mostly dissolved with the juices from the pineapple.
  3. Cover your crockpot and set it to cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for about 3-4 hours.
  4. Stir occasionally during cooking to ensure all the ingredients mingle beautifully.
Serving
  1. Once cooked, enjoy the pineapple warm or cool it down and serve it chilled.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. You can freeze it for longer storage; thaw in the refrigerator before serving. When reheating, warm it in the microwave or in a saucepan over low heat.
