- Pour the chicken broth over the ingredients, ensuring everything is submerged. Cover the crockpot with the lid.
Cooking
- Cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
- About 30 minutes before you’re ready to serve, add the egg noodles to the pot, ensuring they become tender but not mushy.
- Once complete, shred the chicken using two forks and give the soup a gentle stir. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For a hint of acidity, add a splash of lemon juice before serving to elevate the flavor. If using chicken thighs, adjust the cooking time slightly.
