Preparation
  1. Be by placing the chicken breasts at the bottom of your crockpot.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the ranch seasoning mix, softened cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken breasts in the crockpot, ensuring all pieces are well coated.
Cooking
  1. Cover the crockpot and set it to cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
  2. Check that the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
Serving
  1. Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the crockpot using two forks, mixing it with the sauce.
  2. Ladle the creamy chicken over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes, and garnish with chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

Don't skip the cream cheese for the creamy texture. Adjust ranch seasoning to taste, and consider adding crushed red pepper flakes for heat. Mix in vegetables like chopped bell peppers or spinach for added flavor.
