Ingredients
  

For the Chips
  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For brushing
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce Just enough to flavor the chips
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup halal pepperoni slices
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly flour your workspace and roll out the pizza dough into a thin rectangle or circle with a thickness of about 1/4 inch.
  3. Cut the rolled-out dough into small squares or triangles using a pizza cutter or sharp knife.
  4. Place the chips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the tops with olive oil.
  5. Spoon a tiny amount of pizza sauce onto each chip without making the dough soggy.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously over each chip, followed by a few slices of halal pepperoni.
  7. Sprinkle Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese over the top.
Baking
  1. Slide the baking sheet into the oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the chips are golden brown and crispy.
  2. Let them cool for a few minutes before serving warm. Optionally, serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

For perfecting the chips, try different cheeses like gouda or provolone. If time is short, store-bought pizza dough can be used. Keep an eye on the chips towards the end of baking to prevent them from burning.
