Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Lightly flour your workspace and roll out the pizza dough into a thin rectangle or circle with a thickness of about 1/4 inch.
- Cut the rolled-out dough into small squares or triangles using a pizza cutter or sharp knife.
- Place the chips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the tops with olive oil.
- Spoon a tiny amount of pizza sauce onto each chip without making the dough soggy.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously over each chip, followed by a few slices of halal pepperoni.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese over the top.
Baking
- Slide the baking sheet into the oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the chips are golden brown and crispy.
- Let them cool for a few minutes before serving warm. Optionally, serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
For perfecting the chips, try different cheeses like gouda or provolone. If time is short, store-bought pizza dough can be used. Keep an eye on the chips towards the end of baking to prevent them from burning.
