  • to taste Toppings of choice (pepperoni, vegetables, halal-approved meats, etc.) Feel free to customize.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread flour and salt. Mix well.
  3. Pour the yeast mixture and olive oil into the flour mixture. Stir until a dough starts to form.
  4. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover it with a damp cloth or plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size.
Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 500°F (260°C). Grease a rectangular or square steel pan heavily with olive oil.
  2. Once risen, transfer the dough to the pan. Gently stretch it to fit, making sure to push it into the corners.
  3. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the dough, then add your marinara sauce on top. Finally, layer on your favorite toppings.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  5. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
