Cooking
- In a non-stick skillet, heat your crispy chicken sausage over medium heat for about 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until heated through and crispy on the outside.
- In a separate small bowl, crack the egg and beat it slightly with a fork. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- If there’s room in your skillet, push the chicken sausage to one side and pour the beaten egg next to it. Alternatively, use a different pan. Let it cook for 1-2 minutes on medium heat until it’s just set.
- Slice the sandwich bun and toast it lightly if desired. Place the crispy chicken sausage on the bottom half, top it with the cooked egg, and add any toppings you like before closing it with the top half of the bun.
- Serve hot and enjoy your delicious sandwich, sharing it with loved ones or savoring it solo!
Notes
For perfect results, avoid overcooking the egg—keep it fluffy but not rubbery. Store leftovers in an airtight container and refrigerate, consuming within 2 days for best quality. For freezing, wrap tightly in foil, lasting up to a month. Reheat in a toaster or conventional oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes.
