  • 4 large large carrots, peeled and cut into thin sticks Make sure to cut them into fry-shaped sticks for even cooking.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For coating the carrot sticks.
  • 1 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • ½ teaspoon pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika For added flavor.
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder For seasoning.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Peel and cut the carrots into fry-shaped sticks, aiming for even thickness.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the carrot sticks with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder until they are evenly coated.
  4. Lay the seasoned carrot sticks in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet, ensuring they aren’t overcrowded for proper airflow.
Baking
  1. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping the sticks halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  2. Once crispy and tender, take them out and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For variations, try adding cumin or chili powder for extra flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; reheat in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 10 minutes.
