For the Wings
  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
For the Honey Sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Add the chicken wings and toss until they are evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Place the seasoned wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they aren’t overcrowded.
  2. Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Honey Sauce Preparation
  1. While the wings are cooking, mix the honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until well combined.
Assembly
  1. Once the wings are done, carefully remove them from the air fryer and transfer them to a large mixing bowl.
  2. Pour the honey sauce over the wings, tossing them until well-coated.
Serving
  1. Plate the wings and serve immediately, garnishing with your choice of toppings like sesame seeds or fresh herbs.

Notes

For extra crispiness, increase the cooking time by a few minutes but monitor to avoid burning. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
