Ingredients

Chicken and Coating
  • 2 pieces chicken breasts Flattened for even cooking
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs Beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray For air frying

Method

Preparation
  1. Flatten the chicken breasts with a meat mallet for even cooking. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Breading
  1. Place the flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs in three separate shallow dishes. In the breadcrumb dish, add garlic powder and paprika. Mix well.
  2. Dip each chicken breast into the flour, ensuring an even coat. Next, dip it into the egg mixture, letting any excess drip off, followed by the breadcrumb mix. Ensure the chicken is well-coated.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your Air Fryer to 380°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Spray the basket with cooking spray and place the breaded chicken breasts inside (make sure not to overcrowd). Lightly spray the tops of the chicken with more cooking spray.
  3. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is crispy and golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Serving
  1. Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice and serve with your favorite sides!
