Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 3 large apples, peeled and sliced into fries Choose sweet varieties like Fuji or Honeycrisp for optimal flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (optional) For added sweetness.
  • 1 pinch salt

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by peeling your apples and slicing them into fry-shaped sticks about half an inch wide.
Mixing
  1. In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples with olive oil, cinnamon, and sugar (if using). Toss until the apple fries are evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Place the apple fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they’re not overcrowded.
  3. Cook the apple fries for about 10 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
Serving
  1. Once cooked, remove the apple fries from the air fryer and let them cool slightly. Serve them warm alone or with a delightful dip of your choice.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. For longer storage, freeze for about a month. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes to maintain crispiness.
