Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients to make the cooking process smoother.
  2. Lay the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix evenly over the chicken.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth, which will keep the chicken moist while cooking.
  5. Cut the cream cheese into smaller pieces and place it atop the chicken and ranch mixture.
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste, knowing that the ranch packs a punch of flavor.
Cooking
  1. Cover your crockpot and set it to low for about 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender and easy to shred.
  2. In the last 30 minutes, mix in the shredded cheddar cheese, stirring gently to combine.
Serving
  1. Once ready, shred the chicken inside the crockpot and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
