  • 36 pieces Oreo cookies, crushed
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
For the cream cheese layer
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened (8 oz) Make sure it is at room temperature.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups whipped topping (e.g., Cool Whip) Divided into two portions.
For the pudding layer
  • 1 cup vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
For garnish
  • 2 cups chocolate or vanilla topping Optional for garnish.

Preparation
  1. Begin by crushing 36 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the Oreo mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish, forming an even layer.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  5. Fold in one cup of whipped topping to the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust, creating a smooth layer.
  7. In another bowl, mix the vanilla pudding with the milk for about 2 minutes until it thickens.
  8. Pour the vanilla pudding over the cream cheese layer.
  9. Top with the remaining whipped topping, smoothing it out evenly.
  10. Sprinkle any additional toppings, such as crushed Oreos or chocolate shavings, to make it look irresistible!
  11. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to let the flavors meld together.

Notes

For the best flavor, prepare this dessert a day in advance. You can substitute the vanilla pudding layer with chocolate pudding for a richer flavor. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
