  • 4 pieces salmon fillets Tender salmon fillets are ideal for this recipe.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Used for cooking the salmon.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic adds great flavor.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can be substituted with half-and-half or coconut milk for a lighter version.
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth Adds depth of flavor to the sauce.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt To season the salmon.
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper To season the salmon.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese To add creaminess and flavor to the sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley For garnish.

Method
 

Cooking the Salmon
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Remove salmon and set aside.
Making the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  2. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  3. Bring to a simmer and add Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
Combining and Serving
  1. Return the salmon to the skillet, spooning sauce over each piece.
  2. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Freeze cooked salmon for up to 2 months, wrapped well to prevent freezer burn.
