Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Make sure it's at room temperature.
  • 1/2 cup sugar Can substitute with honey or a sugar alternative.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Adds flavor to the filling.
  • 1 cup milk Use whole milk for richer flavor.
Batter
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries Fresh blueberries recommended; can use frozen if thawed.
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted Do not use hot butter.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Wash the blueberries gently under cold water and set them aside to drain.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sugar. Whisk until smooth and fluffy. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture into the cream cheese mixture, alternating with milk, until smooth.
  5. Gently fold in the blueberries to avoid crushing them.
Baking
  1. Pour melted butter into a 9×13-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  2. Pour in the cobbler mixture.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and set.
  4. Allow it to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. For longer storage, freeze it in a container for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven for best results.
