Ingredients
  

For the Brie
  • 1 round Brie cheese (about 8 ounces)
For the toppings
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • ½ cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • to taste Fresh whole pecans, for garnish (optional)
For serving
  • as needed Crackers, crostini, or sliced baguette

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the Brie on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Assembling
  1. Spoon the cranberry sauce over the top of the Brie.
  2. Sprinkle the chopped pecans evenly over the sauce, and add a light dusting of brown sugar.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the Brie is melty.
  2. Let cool for a couple of minutes before garnishing with whole pecans, if desired.
Serving
  1. Serve with crackers, crostini, or fresh fruit.

Notes

Feel free to substitute pecans with walnuts or almonds for a different flavor. Bake just until the Brie starts to ooze for the best texture. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days; reheat at 300°F (150°C) for 10 minutes.
