Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well, being careful not to overwork it.
  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty, making a slight indentation in the center to prevent puffing up while cooking.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side.
  2. Carefully flip the burgers and place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty to melt. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes for medium doneness.
Assembly
  1. Toast the burger buns if desired. Layer lettuce, tomato, and your cooked patties on the bottom bun, and finish with your choice of toppings—pickles, onions, or anything you fancy!
Serving
  1. Place the top bun and enjoy your mouthwatering Crack Burgers with a side of fries or salad!

Notes

For the best flavor, use ground beef with around 80/20 fat content. Experiment with additional spices like paprika or cayenne to customize the flavor. Store leftover Crack Burgers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze individually for up to 3 months.
