Ingredients
  

Cheese Base
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
Flavorings
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies (drained)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • to taste Salt and pepper
Garnish
  • 1 cup chopped green onions for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and sour cream. Mix well until blended into a creamy mixture.
  3. Stir in drained diced tomatoes with green chilies, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and salt and pepper until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Baking
  1. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden brown on top.
Serving
  1. Sprinkle chopped green onions on top and serve with your favorite dipping chips, veggie sticks, or bread.

Notes

You can prepare the dip a day in advance. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days or freeze for up to three months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes or microwave for a quicker option.
