Ingredients

For the Sliders
  • 12 pieces mini slider buns Soft and fluffy variety recommended.
  • 6 large eggs For scrambling.
  • 6 slices cooked turkey bacon, chopped Alternatively, use Halal turkey sausage.
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded For topping the sliders.
  • 6 pieces turkey sausage patties Ensure Halal certification if needed.
  • 2 cups hash browns Can use frozen or homemade.
  • to taste salt For seasoning.
  • to taste pepper For seasoning.

Method

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients. If using fresh potatoes for hash browns, shred, rinse, and season them with salt and pepper.
Cooking the Hash Browns
  1. Heat a tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add hash browns and cook until crispy and golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Set aside.
Scrambling the Eggs
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper. In the same skillet, add more oil if needed, and scramble the egg mixture until just cooked through.
Cooking the Sausage
  1. Cook the turkey sausage patties according to the package directions, ensuring they are well heated through.
Assembling the Sliders
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). On the bottom half of each slider bun, layer cooked turkey bacon, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, hash browns, and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
Baking
  1. Place the assembled sliders on a baking sheet and cover with foil. Bake for about 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serving
  1. Remove from the oven, assemble the top half of the buns, and serve warm. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauces if desired.

Notes

For substitutions, use veggie sausage or chicken sausage for a healthier option. For a gluten-free version, use lettuce wraps instead of slider buns. Allow leftovers to cool completely before storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes covered with foil.
