Dry Ingredients
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour Sifted if desired.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar, and beat until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt, then gradually mix this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until combined.
  6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
Baking
  1. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  2. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  3. Remove from oven and let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For extra indulgence, you may use dark chocolate chips or add nuts. To ensure perfect cookies, avoid overmixing the dough and use softened butter. Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
