  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (or your favorite herbs)
  • ¼ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded For topping
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure even cooking.
  2. Roll out your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to about ½-inch thick. Cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide.
  3. Place the dough strips onto a greased baking sheet, spacing them evenly apart.
Adding Toppings
  1. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt. Brush this mixture generously over each breadstick.
  2. Top with the shredded mozzarella cheese.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the breadsticks are golden brown and crispy.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving with marinara sauce if desired.

Notes

Substitute Italian seasoning with your favorite herbs. Avoid using cold dough for best results, and don't overcrowd the baking sheet. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to a month.
