Ingredients
  

Brownie Base
  • 1 box brownie mix Use your favorite brand
  • 2 pieces eggs
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil Can substitute with unsweetened applesauce for a lighter option
Cookie Dough Topping
  • 1 cup cookie dough Store-bought or homemade
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips Optional for added flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Mix until just combined.
  3. Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan and pour half of the brownie batter into the bottom, smoothing it into an even layer.
  4. Take spoonfuls of cookie dough and drop them evenly over the brownie layer.
  5. Carefully spread the remaining brownie batter over the cookie dough layer.
  6. If using, sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
Baking
  1. Place the baking pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes. Check with a toothpick.
  2. Let the brownies cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, refrigerated for up to a week, or frozen for a month. Warm in the microwave for 10-15 seconds to revive their gooeyness.
