  • 1 cup brewed coffee Use your favorite brewing method
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant-based) Can substitute with almond milk, coconut milk, or oat milk
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream Can use Halal-friendly alternatives
  • 1 tablespoon sugar Adjust to taste, or use honey/agave
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances flavor
  • cocoa powder for dusting For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Brew your coffee using your preferred method.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the milk and heavy cream. Heat gently until warm but not boiling.
  3. Add sugar and vanilla extract to the warm milk mixture. Stir well.
  4. Froth the milk-cream mixture until light and airy using a frother or whisk.
  5. Pour brewed coffee into your favorite mug and gently add the frothy milk mixture.
  6. Dust with cocoa powder and serve immediately.

Notes

If made in advance, refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat gently over low heat while whisking.
