  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. If you’re using a store-bought pie crust, fit it into a pie dish. If you’re making your own, roll it out into a 9-inch circle and place it into a greased pie dish.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the halal turkey bacon until crispy. Remove from heat and crumble into small pieces.
  4. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg until well combined.
  5. Evenly spread the crumbled turkey bacon on the bottom of the pie crust, followed by the shredded Swiss cheese. Pour the egg and cream mixture over the top.
Cooking
  1. Place the quiche in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.
  2. Allow the quiche to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

For gluten-free options, consider using a gluten-free crust. Pre-bake the crust for about 5-7 minutes to prevent sogginess. Feel free to add sautéed mushrooms, spinach, or caramelized onions for flavor variations. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for about 3-4 days.
