Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) while preparing the dough.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine softened butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add baking soda, salt, and flour, mixing until just combined.
- Form one-inch balls of dough and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spaced 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Remove from oven and gently press a chocolate kiss in the center of each cookie. Allow cooling for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Once cooled, enjoy the cookies with family or save some for later.
Notes
Chill dough in the fridge if too sticky. Store in an airtight container for up to one week or freeze for up to three months.
