Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto a baking sheet, leaving space between each for spreading.
Baking
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Keep cookies in an airtight container for up to one week. For longer storage, freeze for up to three months. To reheat, microwave for 10-15 seconds or bake at 350°F for 5 minutes.
