Ingredients
  

For the pecan mixture
  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1 cup granulated sugar Can be substituted with coconut sugar.
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Make sure it’s alcohol-free.
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg white, beaten For added crunch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mix together the granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg white until foamy. Add the vanilla extract and mix.
  4. Add the pecans to the egg white mixture and stir until they are evenly coated.
  5. Pour the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the coated pecans and toss until they are thoroughly coated.
  6. Spread the pecans on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer.
  7. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes, until they are golden brown and fragrant.
  8. Remove the pecans from the oven and let them cool completely on the baking sheet.
  9. Once cooled, transfer your Cinnamon Sugar Pecans to an airtight container and enjoy your treat!

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week or freeze for up to three months. To rejuvenate, bake at 300°F (150°C) for about 5 minutes before serving.
