- In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and ground cinnamon together.
Filling and Baking
- Divide half the muffin batter into the prepared muffin tin.
- Sprinkle a layer of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over this layer.
- Add the remaining muffin batter on top, distributing it evenly.
- Top with the leftover cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the center.
Cooling and Icing
- Let the muffins cool slightly.
- Drizzle with a mixture of powdered sugar and milk until reaching a drizzling consistency.
