Preparation
- Preheat your oven to the temperature indicated on the cinnamon roll package.
- Open the can and separate the cinnamon rolls. Cut each roll into quarters and set them aside.
Make the Custard Mixture
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
Coat the Cinnamon Roll Bites
- Dip each quarter of cinnamon roll into the egg mixture, ensuring they’re fully coated. Shake off any excess mixture.
Cook the Bites
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Once melted, add the coated cinnamon roll pieces and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
Serve
- Remove the bites from the skillet and serve them warm, drizzled with maple syrup.
- Top with your choice of fruits or whipped cream if desired.
Notes
Allow leftovers to cool completely before storing in an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in the microwave for 20-30 seconds or in a toaster oven at 350°F for 5-7 minutes for best results.
