Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease an 8x8-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Stir until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, mixing well after each addition.
- In another bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
Baking
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Frosting
- While the blondies are baking, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth.
- Once the blondies are done baking, cool them in the pan for 10 minutes before icing with the cream cheese mixture.
Serving
- Let the blondies cool completely before cutting them into squares. Serve warm for the best experience.
Notes
For a healthier option, use coconut sugar instead. Blondies are best slightly underbaked. Add nuts or chocolate chips for extra flavor.
