Method
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin or line it with parchment paper for easier cleanup.
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon for the filling. Set aside.
- Open the can of refrigerated cinnamon roll dough and separate the rolls. Cut each roll into quarters along the perforated lines.
Assembly
- Dip each portion into the melted butter, then coat with the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture. Roll the pieces into small balls, ensuring they’re well coated.
- Space the cinnamon roll bites evenly in the muffin tin compartments, filling each compartment about halfway.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until they are golden brown and puffed.
- While the bites cool for a minute, whisk the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth.
Serving
- Drizzle the glaze over the cinnamon roll bites while they’re still warm and serve immediately.
Notes
You can reduce the amount of brown sugar for a less sweet version or substitute it with coconut sugar. Keep an eye on baking time, as it can vary with oven temperatures. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days, or refrigerate for up to a week.
