For dusting

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure perfect baking.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and butter until it's smooth and creamy.
  3. Gradually mix in the sugar and vanilla extract, blending until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Slowly add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients. Stir until combined; it should be a soft dough.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet with space between each cookie.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  2. Allow them to cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
Finishing touches
  1. Once cool, dust the cookies with powdered sugar for an elegant finish.
