Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved Choose ripe, sweet strawberries for best flavor.
  • 1 cup yogurt (plain or vanilla) Greek yogurt works well for a thicker coating.
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips Adjust type of chocolate based on preference.
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil Optional, for a glossy finish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash and hull the strawberries. Cut them in half and set aside on a paper towel to absorb excess moisture.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add the yogurt. Sweeten with honey or maple syrup if desired.
Coating
  1. Dip each strawberry half into the yogurt, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the coated strawberries on it. Freeze for about 15-20 minutes until the yogurt hardens.
Chocolate Coating
  1. Melt the chocolate chips with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl, using 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  2. Once the yogurt-covered strawberries are frozen, dip each in the melted chocolate and place them back on the parchment-lined sheet.
Final Steps
  1. Return the chocolate-covered strawberries to the freezer for another 10-15 minutes to set the chocolate fully.
  2. Once firm, enjoy these delightful clusters!

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the freezer for up to two weeks.
