Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 piece pre-made tart shell Use a pre-made tart shell for convenience.
  • 200 g dark chocolate, chopped Use high-quality dark chocolate for best flavor.
  • 200 ml heavy cream Can substitute with Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
  • 2 tablespoons sugar Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances chocolate flavor.
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries For garnish and flavor.
  • optional Mint leaves for garnish Adds a gourmet touch.

Method

Preparation
  1. Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat. Do not let it boil; bring it to a simmer.
  2. Once simmering, remove it from the heat and immediately add the chopped dark chocolate. Stir until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
  3. Incorporate the sugar and vanilla extract into the chocolate mixture and stir until well blended.
Assembly
  1. Pour the chocolate mixture into the pre-made tart shell, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  2. Gently place the fresh raspberries into the chocolate filling, helping them nestle into the mixture.
Chilling
  1. Cover the tart with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set completely.
  2. For a quicker option, a 30-minute chill in the freezer may work, but avoid freezing the tart.
Serving
  1. Once set, garnish with mint leaves if desired, slice, and serve chilled.
  2. Enjoy the delightful blend of flavors!

Notes

Store the tart in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze for up to a month, thawing overnight in the fridge before serving.
