Ingredients

For the Yogurt Coating
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt Use any flavor variation like vanilla or honey for an extra twist.
For the Strawberries
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved Ensure strawberries are fully dry before coating.
For the Chocolate Coating
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips Use a double boiler for gentler melting if desired.
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or butter Coconut oil helps the chocolate dip to be smoother and shinier.

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash and hull the fresh strawberries, then slice them in half and set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, stir the Greek yogurt until creamy and smooth. Sweeten with honey or maple syrup if desired.
  3. Dip each half of the strawberry into the yogurt mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated, then place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Once all strawberries are coated, place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 15-20 minutes.
Chocolate Dipping
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
  2. Remove the strawberry bites from the freezer. Dip each yogurt-covered strawberry into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  3. Place the chocolate-dipped strawberries back on the parchment-lined sheet, and return to the freezer for another 10-15 minutes to set.
Serving
  1. Once set, the treats are ready to serve! Enjoy fresh or store them for later.
