Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Stir until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking pan to form a crust.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of chocolate chips evenly over the crust, followed by the chopped cherries. If using nuts, sprinkle them over the cherry layer as well.
- Drizzle the entire can of sweetened condensed milk over the layered ingredients, ensuring everything is covered.
- Finally, sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the chocolate is melted.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool for about 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
Notes
Chop your cherries for even distribution, experiment with different chocolate types, and consider making a double batch for sharing. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or up to a week in the refrigerator.
