Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped pecans, shredded coconut, flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and salt. Stir until evenly mixed.
- In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Pour this mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until fully combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips gently to ensure they are evenly distributed.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Baking
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the bars to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before slicing into squares.
Notes
Store bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 3 months. To reheat, microwave for 10-15 seconds or bake at 350°F for 5 minutes.
